Every culture has those guys who get their hustle on. You know them. You see them on the street making money selling stuff. Sometimes it’s stuff you might need, a lot of times it’s not. Whether it’s bean pies, incense, tickets, jewelry, or purses, your local hookup man probably has it.

Barbados beaches have plenty of these guys. In the city they’re selling freshly cut sugar cane. On the beach it’s coral jewelry or jet skis or boat rides. These friendly, flirtatious Bajans had the perfect color catamaran to entice customers.

If you have to hustle to make that money and the beach is your office, that surely beats working on the hot city pavement.
