Weekly Photo Challenge: The world through my eyes

Every time I go to the plant store, I can’t help but stop and look at the Venus Flytrap. The fact there’s a plant that’s a carnivore still gives me nightmares. They’re really pretty, but as much as I want one my over active imagination just keeps thinking what if I feed it some Osmocote and they become big enough to think I’m dinner? If you’ve ever fed your plants Osmocote, you know what I’m talking about. Come to think of it, what is in that stuff that makes plants and flowers gigantic?

As much as I’m scared of Venus Flytraps, I still have this compulsion to stick my finger in one. Just to see what will happen. And then I look at the warning sign telling idiots with those very thoughts not to touch them. This image doesn’t really capture my unease with them. Instead, it makes me realize perhaps I admire more than fear them.
