Nature is beautiful, until it isn’t. When a trickle of a creek becomes fearsome and surpasses it’s high water mark, this is the result. I finally understand the southern saying, “The good Lord willin’, and the creek don’t rise.”
The picnic shelter became a pond and the path to the greenway system, was the road to who knows what creepy things–snakes, bugs, rats! High water is a hot mess.
