When I saw the theme for this week’s photo challenge the opening dialogue from the song Bhangra Fever by Midival Punditz popped in my head:
If you’ve ever existed in grids or swerves, you know that London swings, New York’s a grid. Chicago swings. Bombay is a grid and Delhi swings.
It has absolutely nothing to do with my photo for the challenge. But it’s a cool song. For several months now I’ve watched and documented an old office building becoming a condo building. They’ve arrived at the stage of building a grid for the units.
No swerves, only more grids at The Daily Post.
It’s fascinating to see the building taking shape in this way. It’s like an X-ray photograph of a building!
Yes! That’s a cool way to look at it and x-ray. I’m so fascinated by the little changes and watching the workers put the puzzle together day by day.
I know what you mean. It must be interesting watching all that complexity arising from nothing.
