There’s a saying in North Carolina “if you don’t like today’s weather just wait a day.” Because truly in every season except summer you can have four seasons within seven days. On Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.) last week it was 74 degrees and sunny. Yep, it felt like spring. I wore short sleeves. Three days prior I had worn a heavy winter coat, knit scarf and hat. So guess what my eyes spied with such spring-like weather? A bee working a rose like it was summertime.

Here in Massachusetts it has also been unusually warm. Wish I could find a lovely flower like this!
My dad’s garden is full of roses still blooming. It’s crazy.
