A Buckeye life lost

Ohio State Buckeyes always like to say nothing matters more than the annual November rivalry on the gridiron with Michigan (and of course winning a national championship). This year’s game was a crazy one that started off close, then Ohio State stepped its game up and proceeded to send the Wolverines home crying with delusions of getting established former NFL coaches to lead their team next year.

In the end none of it was as important as the Ohio State football player, who had gone missing earlier last week. Even as the game began everyone was hopeful that he would be found safely. It wasn’t to be. The news is reporting Kosta Karageorge’s body was found in the University area in a dumpster. It’s a reminder of just how irrelevant sports and all of the gloating about wins are when a life is tragically lost.

Life is hard and sometimes short. People are important.
