I finally met my knight in, well not exactly shining, armor. I had to go overseas and visit a former plantation house just to meet him. He’s quite a bit shorter and creepier looking than I’d imagined, but I feel confident he can protect me. He hangs out at the home of a very prosperous person, but he’s also a bit shy as he stands in a corner all day. I’m an introvert, too, so we really understand each other well. He doesn’t even seem to mind my hat hair that I pulled back into a ponytail. He’s also okay with the big age gap. What’s 100s of years when you’re smitten? 😉
