31 nights. 62 bands. 1 venue. That’s how iTunes billed it. There’s one day left so if you can, get the app or watch it via iTunes streaming, but you have to check some of it out.
The festival had a good variety of acts. I loved watching some of my old and new favorites like Adele, The Script, Coldplay, Linkin Park and James Morrison. And loved discovering other acts like 2Cellos, Chase and Status, and Katy B.
I hate today’s repetitive radio and listen to it maybe four times a year if that. I don’t find new music I like that way any more, except maybe Gospel. Sadly, when I find new music it’s from TV shows, commercials and the free songs iTunes gives away every Tuesday. Being able to hear artists live often makes me like some music better than I would if I’d heard it from a pressed disc first.
I’m really looking forward to the next festival and discovering more music to expand the soundtrack of my life.
