Day 10: A song containing cowbell (and whether it needs more cowbell)

“I got a fever, and the only prescription is MORE COWBELL.”

If Bruce Dickinson had been the producer on War’s song Low Rider, perhaps he would have encouraged Lee Oskar to explore the space, and we would have gotten more cowbell on this track. So War should probably add some more cowbell to Low Rider so that they, too, can be wearing gold-plated diapers.

Low Rider by War

No, you can never have enough cowbell.

Lyrics

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher

Low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer

Low rider knows every street, yeah
Low rider is the one to meet, yeah

Low rider don’t use no gas now
Low rider don’t drive too fast

Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip with me

If by chance you don’t know what all this means then you might want to start here for enlightenment.
