Day 16: A song from an underrated genius

I saw something so good yesterday, I had to switch the list order a bit. This song probably includes every lament expressed by writers, editors, teachers, grammarians, your mother, etc. With cameos by Clippy (you remember him from Microsoft Word), LOST, dancing letters and clever wordplay—well, it’s just genius.

Word Crimes by “Weird Al” Yankovic (To the tune of Blurred Lines)

Did you see that B kick the Oxford comma out? Drama! If you’re a true wordsmith, you’ll want to put this on repeat.

Since Yankovic is releasing a new song everyday for the next 8 days go here to see them. Start with Tacky.
