On Valentine’s Day I send much love to all of the subbers, who enable all of us caught up in the Hallyu to enjoy K-dramas and K-pop. I’ve noticed as soon as I’ve needed lyrics translated, within 24-48 hrs they’re findable online. Even current TV programs are getting fully subbed not long after their air dates. My lame attempts at trying to translate even the simplest things using a variety of translation apps, shows me exactly how difficult this must be. Capturing the nuances of speech and meaning and explaining the meaning of phrases is fascinating to me. Doing it well and fast is phenomenal.
