I love lunchtime better than breakfast or dinner. My lunchtime on a work day ranges from walking dogs and eating at home, walking to a trendy restaurant, running errands, or enjoying the park. Lately it finds me often eating at my desk writing blog posts or watching streaming TV. When winter passes I’ll be more inspired to get away from my desk.
Being so close to so many high quality restaurants at lunchtime makes it a great way to get fabulous food at more affordable prices than dinner at the same spots. I’ve noticed this has changed my idea of lunch quite a bit. McDonalds or other fast food places no longer cut it for me. I’d rather spend a little more just have better taste and hopefully healthier grub.
It’s hard for me to say I have favorite lunch spot because really it depends on what my tastebuds are driving me to get. These lunch photos are from a couple places I enjoy regularly–Spize Cafe, Beasley’s Chicken and Honey, and Sushi O. Before camera phones, it never occurred to me to take photos of my lunch on any given day. Now, that seems to be a part of the experience–taking and posting photos of your food to every branch of social media you inhabit. It’s a thing that’s probably far more interesting to the amateur photographer than all the folks in their timeline.
That Sushi looks GREAT!
It is and it’s not even my favorite roll! I get it because we share a name. Oh, vanity! 😀 They have one called Sweet Romeo and everyone falls in love with it. Aptly named.
If it wasn’t sleeting here I would go get some!!
Wow – those plates of food look like works of art 🙂
So true. They inspire photos!
